The only thing that's consistent is that mysterious fog is always bad. Not the usually misty-raining weather, but the kind that rolls in and blocks you view. It's happened before, and the effects were worse than what happened this time. And it all started out with a bad feeling--I think it's stopped that, because no one else but me started feeling like the world was caving in when the bodies started flickering and the fog rolled in, but I know. Stuff around here never gets bad and then gets better. It starts out bad and gets worse before things go back to normal. No one believes me but it's been a pattern for two years now. Bodies show up and worse shit is coming along, stuff that's driven people off the deep end in the past.
And people say I'm paranoid? Hell no! It ain't paranoia if you know that the bad things aren't all in your head. Why it keeps happening, I dunno. The best I can do is to keep up with the patterns and try to weather it. Fog especially.
