35th Detonator [Audio]

I completed my report on the alternative Discedo. It's located here.

...There's still one issue I need to address. When I woke up here from the other Discedo, a few other individuals and myself were on the floor of the hydroelectric plant, with bandages and cotton pads on us. ...Does anyone have any information regarding this situation, such as how we arrived there?

And did anyone else wake up with a bandage on that wasn't in the hydroelectric plant?

[There's a small pause as he thinks about the next matter to talk about]

Watch, Bang Shishigami has joined the organization. His frequency is [livejournal.com profile] almosttoomanly if you need to contact him.

[Locked to Kirika | 20%]

Kirika... I need to speak with you.

[After closing his communicator, he goes around to look for Miyu in their apartment]

Are there any warlord factions taking shape or is that too much an impossibility?

[audio]

[identity profile] musicboxsoldier.livejournal.com 2011-05-03 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
Impossible.

The remaining countries after the war attempted to gather weapons banned by treaty... but all of them were annihilated in one night.

One person... who's known as the Black Reaper.

Oh?

[Marco code for hanging on the edge of his seat in excitement.]

...He was the hero of the Global Union, but after the war was over, he became branded as a criminal instead.
fierybluebird: [Marco arching an eyebrow leaning on an arm with blue background] (Is that so?)

What for? Not that governments ever need a reason.
fierybluebird: (Keep talking)

[audio]

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-05-04 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. And I'm sure those lessened when they made him an outlaw. [Deadpan sarcasm.]

...overall his sentence added up to over 4000 years, but he was absent for his trial.

[audio]

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-05-04 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Shocking. I'm surprised they even gave him one...

4000 years? How long do people live in your world?

[audio]

[identity profile] musicboxsoldier.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
Not long, less than one hundred years as the average.

The 4000 years sentence was more of a formality, assigning years to equal the amount of war crimes he committed.
fierybluebird: (Keep talking)

[audio]

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-05-04 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
Why not just give him a death sentence?

[audio]

[identity profile] musicboxsoldier.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
[He could think of several reasons, but he isn't going to say]

...I'm unaware of their reasoning. I wasn't present at the trial.

fierybluebird: (thinking)

[audio]

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-05-04 07:05 am (UTC)(link)
I guess your world goes easier on criminals then. Just raising a pirate flag counts as an automatic death sentence in my world.

[audio]

[identity profile] musicboxsoldier.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 07:35 am (UTC)(link)
Your government sees pirates as a major threat then, correct?
fierybluebird: (cool breeze)

[audio] 1/2

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-05-04 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
Sure.

[At first he doesn't explain it, but then he thinks better of it since Kresnik has been so forthcoming, it'd only be polite to explain a little further.]

My world has far more factions than yours I believe, eh. There are the marines controlled as soldiers by the World Government, there are millions of pirate crews doing their own things, the 4 pirate emperors the government saw as very big threats -- and anything to do with Gol D. Roger: the pirate king.

Their biggest threat and they know it is Dragon's Rebellion though. Because pirates don't give a damn about overthrowing the world government, and the smart ones just avoid marines. The rebels operate by stirring up rebellions in the various nations that used to be allied in the government, and then get them to separate, trying to seek their own way, eh.

Then there's the shichibukai who are ex-pirates the world government tries to use to round up more pirates and keep the emperors in check, there's the tenryuubito who are the world's nobility and the government's hands are tied by their whims -- they even allow slavery around Sabaody and look the other way just for them. So then you have slavers, and one of the shichibukai has all his connections through that -- fucking hate that guy. And then the marines and government put bounties on any of the pirates they consider worth a threat, so you have bounty hunters too; but most of them are just weak. Not as stupid as marines though, I don't think any bounty hunter has seen our tattoo and thought it'd be a good idea to try to bad one of us in decades. We'll see how long that lasts though.

[identity profile] musicboxsoldier.livejournal.com 2011-05-05 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
[He listens, taking all of the information in]

...Hopefully the people involved with Dragon's rebellion have a plan for your world if they manage to topple the world government. [and hopefully that plan doesn't involve complete dictatorship by them]
fierybluebird: (relaxed)

[audio]

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-05-05 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I pretty much doubt that. They just want freedom from the regimes. Then again, they aren't pirates, so maybe there's a long term plan in place. I'm not exactly relying on them either way.

[audio]

[identity profile] musicboxsoldier.livejournal.com 2011-05-06 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
...Hm, hopefully your world doesn't end up like mine.
fierybluebird: (thinking)

[audio]

[personal profile] fierybluebird 2011-05-06 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed. I don't think they're seeking raw anarchy though. So since they wouldn't want the tenryuubito to immediately come back into power...

Eh, if I may ask, how do you deal with it generally?
