43rd Detonator [Audio/ Action for anyone in Dissimulo]; backdated to Saturday evening

[He's heard about people seeing the corpses of people they know. Fortunately for him, the commander has only seen bodies of strangers so far. Well, until now at least.

On a road in Dissimulo, Kresnik is kneeling down by the body of his captain, his expression solemn as he examines the damage. It seems that he's been crushed by something heavy... and there's gun, sword, and various burn injuries on him. Kresnik is quiet for a while, but he eventually turns his communicator on]

I've searched around Dissimulo, it seems that these corpses are only of people that weren't here before. If you have encountered otherwise, inform me immediately.

[He's silent for a while, staring at the corpse still. Then quietly, almost inaudibly, he speaks again.] ...Is this how it ends.

[And he cuts the feed.]

[He stands up and looks over at Heiji, trying to look neutral with some success.]

Heiji.

The stiffs.

Somethin' is off about all of them. They vary per body sometimes. It's like they were just dumped here. They're not actually stiffs- as far as anyone can tell.

[He nods. He isn't sure what these bodies are, but they can only guess for now.]

Most importantly, we need to find whoever is responsible for this. Unfortunately, I haven't found any clues so far.

Evidence is scarce an' it's hard ta determine who did this or if we're even familiar with them.

I have uneasy feelin's about all of it.

Just keep alert, I'll inform you if I see anything.

[...] Is that all?

Alright. [He looks down at the body for a few more seconds before starting to leave]

...I have seen bodies of those who have been here in the past and are here no longer.

Is Kresnik-taichou alright?

Yes. [.....] I just encountered the body of my captain.

I haven't figured out who might be responsible for all this... and I doubt that the scientists are involved.

This has not greatly effected me, as I have seen many of my companions die almost a thousand deaths before, and that is merely outside of the hells. In hell the try to torture you with killing phantasmal images of your loved ones over and over. You could say that in some respects I am... desensitized to it.
